Manchester based artist, stumbled into life casting after seeing people doing it at a number of lifestye exhibitions, I looked into it on-line and found out the materials used. Basically alginate and plaster of paris. So I went shopping and got all the materials and spent a few months teaching myself the basic skills of lifecasting.
Then once I had mastered the basics I decided to get a little more creative and worked out how to do resin casts, work with lights and neon tubes, metal work. Am a member of the ALI (Association of Lifecasters International) which is a world wide recognised life casting group. Also do some sketching and painting, photography.
